Isn't this easy!

Hello there!

We live in a world where our students carry all sorts of technology around with them all day, and yet we often restrict ourselves to books, paper and pens in our classrooms.

Now, whilst there's nothing wrong with the tried and trusted, maybe if we made use of some of the technologies available to us (now often referred to as "teAchnology"), we might engage our students to participate more enthusiastically in their language learning... Surely it's worth a try anyway?

You could set up a simple blog like this one and include all the members of your class as contributors. You could then give them the task of writing the posts. Perhaps students could take it in turn to post about the topic you're currently studying, or they could just post a topic of their choice - like a biography of a favourite actor or football player for example. Their classmates can then add comments - both about the content and about the quality of the language used.

Go on, give it a try!
